If You’re Wondering Why Sarah Palin’s Exorcist, Thomas Muthee, is so Obsessed with Witches, This BBC Report on Witch Hunting in Kenya is Helpful

Apparently, witch fear and hunting is widespread in Kenya.

Money quote from a May 2008 BBC report on 11 elderly people who were literally burned as witches in eastern Kenya:

The mob dragged them out of their houses and burned them individually and then set their homes alight, our correspondent says.

Residents have been ambivalent about condemning the attacks because belief in witchcraft is widespread in the area, he says.

And here’s an extended reflection on Thomas Muthee’s harrassment of the Kenyan “witch” Mama Jane:

And here’s Thomas Muthee speaking, in dominionist language, about politics, and then laying his hands on Sarah Palin and speaking of vanquishing witchcraft from her path to the governorship:

Someone in the mainstream media needs to ask her whether or not she believes in upholding state and federal laws about freedom of religion, and in rules of real, physical evidence and credible witnesses before accusing someone of causing harm or murder through “witchcraft”, and under what conditions she believes someone’s constitutional human and civil rights can be lawfully taken away. Oh, and let’s not forget to ask her about her regard for the federal constitutional separation of church and state (remember she claimed to be a “Federalist” in the Katie Couric interview). She sure didn’t seem to exhibit such a belief when running for Governor, or being governor. Last I looked, Alaska IS part of the Union and the constitutional laws separating church and state were supposed to apply there, too. Where was the Federal District Attorney or the U.S. Attorney General for these blatant violations?

I won’t forget to ask you where exactly that part of the Constitution is. Good luck finding it… it doesn’t exist!

(LOL….ting, tang, walla walla bing bang….)

We can assume that her fear of witchcraft arises from the voices of the lost souls that she probably hears at night.

Or maybe a few hundred of her old victims have been sticking pins in her dolls.

Anyone who operates the way she does does not make a lot of genuine friends. Things like this can come back and haunt you – especially if you make phony claims about being a “Christian”.

Sure makes good humor, though! ;-)
