I agree with Obama that McCain frequently flops around like a fish out of water trying to figure out what his positions are on issues, but I think that Obama needs to be careful here. He’s likely to be the next president. And we’ve had eight years of a president who is inflexible and unwilling to change when circumstances warrant it.
Obama should not make a virtue of certainty for certainty’s sake. That seems to me what the crowd is applauding at the end of the above clip, and I find that attitude troubling.
