For eight years, the Republican party, led by George Bush, has set a mindless echo-chamber of religious stupidity and psychological hysteria around the American public—cynically playing on people’s bigotry and fears—and discouraging our hopes.
But the rhetorical and media cage that far-right Republicans have constructed around our political discourse is about to be broken out of.
On November 4, the American people will finally and decisively repudiate the Limbaugh-Rove-Fox News Axis that has dominated our political culture for eight years.
The cunning intelligence of this dog is like the American electorate this year. We will find a way out of that cage that the far-right has constructed around us.
