It’s the last weekend of the campaign, and Sarah Palin’s STILL snug behind her campaign curtain, having avoided giving a single press conference or appearing on any of the Sunday morning press shows.
Is the McCain campaign shielding a humbug?

HAVE YOU NOTICED THE MESSIAH HASN’T GIVEN A PRESS INTERVIEW (NON SCRIPTED) IN THE LAST MONTH YOU PHONY– HE WONT EVEN TALK TO HIS FAWNING MEDIA. AND BIDEN HAS BEEN CLOSETED WITH TAPE OVER HIS MOUTH. IF OBAMA BECOMES PRESIDENT YOU WILL FEEL WHAT THE CUBANS HAVE HAD FOR 50 YEARS. READ THOMAS SOWELL ON THE CHANGE IN OBAMALAND— EVERYTHING OLD (AND FAILED) IS NEW AGAIN.
Socialist H:
I agree with you that all the candidates should be more unscripted in their interactions with the press.
What is uniquely disturbing about the case of Palin is that she has never, even ONCE, held a national press conference—or sat down with a journalist on one of the Sunday morning press shows and just talked for an extended period.
It is remarkable, but we (the electorate) literally have not seen Sarah Palin, unscripted, for more than, literally, a minute or two at a time (and how often those brief moments were shocking—and gaff laden).
I am happy to read anything you recommend on Obama by Thomas Sowell. He is, obviously, a thoughtful person.
