See Here the First Humans to Appear in a Photograph (1838)

It was on a street in Paris, and it was 1838 (over 170 years ago).

A man is having his shoe shined by a “shoe shine boy.”

At this period in the history of photography, the exposure time required to capture the image would have been about ten minutes, so the man whose shoe is being shined must have been relatively stationary not to blur out (or simply not appear at all):
