Mental Health Break: Shopping for Clothes in London, Late 1960s

I thought that there were two rather brilliant observations by the narrator of this video. The first was on groovy clothes dressing and clothing shops in general:

It’s all another tiny colored womb, warm and gentle, in its way an escape from the H-BOMB, television, and other horrors of the workaday world.

And this on the politics of wearing and jazzing up marshal and square clothes:

One way of saying no to authority is to parody it.
