A Recent UFO Caught on Video by the BBC

Last week, the BBC caught an unidentified flying object passing through one of its live video feeds. No, it doesn’t mean it was an alien spacecraft from another planet or dimension. Nor does it mean that it was a fast moving angel sweeping over the earth on its way back to heaven. It simply means that something appears to have flown past a camera that is not readily identifiable. Speculation can take us anywhere, but what do we actually do with such curiosities and perplexities?

    from the comments:
“It’s a spiderweb (a thread) in front of the lens, it happens all the time. those damn arachnids love building webs there, and when a gust of wind comes along it blows the thread into the light and reflects it. I’m sure you’ve all seen that sort of thing on the the windshield of your car or front porch”

I agree with that due to the arcing of the “flightpath”.

It certainly could be that. But it also might not. Here’s my perplexity: How many bits of eyewitness testimony concerning UFO abductions, how many sky sightings, and how many grainy videos at least gives one enough pause to take a fresh look and ask: Can all this data be accounted for by simple explanations like spiderwebs drifting over lenses, fraud, hallucinations, psychoses, weather balloons, aircraft, birds, and general human suggestibility?

Is a scientist like Jacque Vallee a fool to even generate a variety of alternative hypotheses? (Such as intentional beings passing in and out of another dimension and really interacting with humans in a more than just internally psychological way)?

Is there something out there, a phenomenon we might not have a grasp on yet? And if so, what is it? Is it foolish to even entertain such thoughts? Why?

And is it logically or physically impossible that intentional beings (besides ourselves) “haunt” our solar system? And if not, then how probable is it? Vanishingly low? Somewhat possible?

I’m just trying to keep an open mind here and think about a phenomenon that might well have at least a bit more to it than meets the eye.
