Cringe inducing: Christians talk about Obama’s sincerity in prayer

Before watching these rich and privileged “Christians”—in an unironic, shameless, and grotesque display of stupidity, smug certitude, and self-righteousness—make sure you have a barf bag near at hand:

Gretchen Carlson’s taut little observation that President Obama is not a church-goer is especially repugnant:

But Mr. Speaker, did you find it at all disingenuous, because some people are analyzing that this morning as saying it was disingenuous from a president who does not go to Church on a regular basis?

Some people?

Who might those “some people” be, exactly?

  1. Roger Salyer says:

Oh, he goes to church. The church of Barrack.

You wouldn’t want to bring up the church he used to attend would you, the one in Chicago?

  2. santitafarella says:

    Roger,

I hope that Obama comes out of his agnostic/atheist closet after leaving office. It would make me love him even more.

  3. Roger Salyer says:

    Well he is your president.

I really wish that the Republican establishment would come out of the agnostic/atheist closet as well. Then I wouldn’t hate them quite so much.

  4. MP Uppal says:

I think in America it is sort of mandatory for every President to bring in God a lot in his speeches.Obama did it in his election campaign rhetoric.Bush repeated it in all his speeches after September 11.I think a leader should only be assesed on the basis of his performance and his integrity. Why bother about these peripheral issues.
