A Question for Mitt Romney

As a Mormon, you have struggled against born-again Christian voter prejudice. Presumably, you wish that evangelicals would not judge your candidacy on this single criterion—the fact that you’re a Mormon.

Given your experience of religiously-based sectarian snubbing at the polls, would you please tell us whether you yourself would vote for a candidate you liked on issues even if you discovered that she or he is:

  1. atheist;
  2. homosexual; or
  3. both atheist and homosexual?

Sincerely,

Santi Tafarella
