Mitt Romney’s “America the Beautiful” vs. Garrison Keillor’s

This ad nicely punctures Mitt Romney’s faux and cynical display of “patriotism”:

Last night, I saw, with my wife and kids and some friends, Garrison Keillor sing “America the Beautiful” at the Hollywood Bowl. It was so nice to hear it sung by someone not running for political office and who actually had no other reason for singing it than that he wanted to. Keillor, I believe, turns seventy this year. Fortunately, someone at YouTube posted him singing “America the Beautiful” from two years ago (or, rather, leading a singing of it). Last night was kind of like this.
