“Mitt Romney, a Hero in My Mind”: A Mitt Romney Base Voter Makes a Song for Mitt Romney

In the below video, a Christian conservative who thinks he’s living in the End Times makes a song supporting Mitt Romney for President. I’m pretty sure it’s sincere–not a joke.

__________

UPDATE: I’ve just learned that the singer’s name is William Tapley. He also calls himself “the third eagle of the apocalypse” and I think he used to argue with people in one of the threads here at this very website! See here. (I wonder if I should be proud of this?)

Anyway, the song is starting to grow on me a bit, like a barnacle. There’s something about William. Will his song go viral?

He makes me wonder if hyperbole is to be taken literally or not.

  2. Kullervo says:

The lyrics about “being saved” are not reflective of Mormonism at all (Mormons talk about salvation a fair amount, but rarely if ever talk about “being saved”), although the bit about “wars and rumors of wars” is very Mormon.
