What’s the Right Rhythm for the Weekend, for Life?

If you think that life is worth living, are you?

And what’s it worth living for, anyway?

Maybe the hint is in this video. Or maybe not. What do you think?

“If you think that life is worth living, are you?”

Sounds to me like you just had a heated argument with your wife. Sounds to me like your sad, confused, disillusioned, Santi.

“And what’s it worth living for, anyway?”

    WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM?

How about, “And for what it’s worth living, anyway. . .” (N.B. – no question mark – then you don’t detract from a rather marvelous music video – however, there is an underlying self-destructive tone coming through that statement – hold steady, Santi – keep both feet on the sand – hold that trumpet – and, above all, play, play, play! – It’s Oktoberfest)

I’ll be playing with a ‘put-together’ trio outdoors in front of the Rehoboth Beach, DE, caviar bar Saturday evening. We haven’t named our group yet. I’m thinking “The Caviar Clams”, that way, if it’s too cold, we won’t have to play anything. And if we do play, as we are all horn players, people will be amazed that we get a sound out of our instruments.)

and FROM WHAT PLANET ARE YOU?

Sure, it is in ‘vogue’ to end a sentence with a preposition, but that doesn’t make it right, unlike someone I met on AllAboutGod.net blogs this past week, who argued in favor of bastardizing the English language. AllAboutGod.net actually put forth a glint of decency for a short period, but, eventually fell short of that as well. To recap this, like the journeys of Sts. Peter and Paul, this is what I find in my journeying, and it is something of which to be wary if you ever venture to the following sites :

At the administrative level within the following sites, each has committed at least one count of grand larceny via copyright infringement, which is the illegal manifestation of cyberbullying, which is the unduly practice of hatred against one or more of its member(s) by another member(s) and/or moderator(s).

These sites are in direct violation of FCC and copyright laws.

I love Herb Alpert! (even when I was a teen I listened to his music). And it looks like he has the right idea of living life to the fullest….. with friends and family.

Of course life is worth living, and because it is ephemeral, must be lived “Carpe Diem”.
